Checked in on Bala on the way and only a beginner out with the wind almost non-existent, so carried on to the coast for the first time this year. On the car park at Fairbourne it seemed fairly windy but a quick nip down to the shore meant it was big sail time. Not wanting to trash more kit, I decided that the 7.1M was a reasonable size but after a few out and back, this was too small.

Therefore back to the beach and rig up the 8.6m with Clive now having the 7.1 with a fuller shape to capture the slightest gust. Spent a good couple of hours out on the water, with one run taking me well down wind and therefore had to sail close to the wind to get back.

An OK session, no kit trashed although I did land smack on top of the sail after the fin beached itself and nice to get into those warm waters.
